Big & Little
A big one and a little one walk on together — the same in everything but size.
What your kid practises: Big/little — seeing the difference
Opens in a new tab. Nothing is sent anywhere while you play.
Why we made it
Press a key and two of the very same kind walk on together — same shape, same colour, except one is nearly four times taller. Standing side by side, the difference needs no explaining.
Size is demonstrated, not displayed: the big one lumbers and booms, the little one scurries and peeps — and then the little one walks behind the big one and vanishes completely.
There is no quiz and nothing to get wrong. It is simply the best moment there is for saying «великий» and «маленький» together.
How to play together
- 1Press any key — a big one and a little one of the same kind walk on side by side.
- 2Say it out loud as it happens: «великий», «маленький».
- 3Press the same key again: walk, jump, hide, call — four demonstrations live inside every key.
Good to know
The toy runs in a browser tab, so a curious kid can still find these:
- Ctrl+Alt+Del — Windows always lets that through.
- The browser’s tabs and address bar (unless you use the kiosk launcher from GitHub).
- Swiping in from the screen edge on touchscreens.
